Embracing My Inner Wildflower with Sigma

What makes you a wildflower?

It's no secret that makeup palettes are my weakness. Eyeshadows, highlighters and blush palettes have always been high on my ever expanding wish list (oops!), but what if there was one that combined all three of my beauty loves? Well, I believe it would be lust at first sight.

And that's exactly what happened when Sigma launched their new makeup collection earlier this month. Sigma makeup brushes have long been one of my all-time favourites, with the Complete Makeup Brush Kit and Ultimate Copper Eye Makeup Brush Set being the pride and joy of my beauty desk (not even kidding). I tell you what, there's nothing quite like beautiful, cruelty-free brushes to make each makeup application smooth and flawless.

Truth be told, previously I'd only ever tried a handful of Sigma makeup (their infamous Gel Eye Liner and super pigmented Power Stick's both left me super impressed). And then they launched the collection of my dreams, Wildflower.

Comprising of an exquisite eye and cheek palette, and two fabulous new lipstick shades, the Wildflower Collection is going to make run through a field of sporadic blooms or, in the very least, feel fabulous all day no matter what's on the cards. After all, being a wildflower to me is about exuding the confidence that allows you to be your beautiful self.

To me, the Sigma Wildflower collection harnesses the girl on-the-go (with or without fields of pretty blossoms), with a range of shades that can effortlessly take you from day to night. The Eye & Cheek Palette features a range of matte and shimmer eyeshadow shades that are not just velvety soft, but also buildable, depending on the look you want to achieve. The best part is that each shade is so unique and complex, from the shimmering taupe to matte elderberry.

I'll admit though, it was the quality of the pearlescent highlight and deep blush that truly blew me away. I mean, c'mon, I even used them on my eyelids to further enhance my beauty look. The highlight is sheer and subtle, while the matte rose blush seems to be a universally flattering shade for those who love a little extra flush, myself included.

The final touch is always a swipe of lipstick. Once again, Sigma nails the ultra pigmented formula, with both shades applying like magic with just one layer. From the light peachy nude to a deep raspberry, you're sure to make a statement.

I'm wearing: SWF Boutique off-the-shoulder top and black skinny jeans.
