Bargain Hunting on Fashion Lane

Snagging a bargain (or two). Oops.

We have been enjoying copious amounts of winter sunshine of late and, to me, that means it's time to bare my legs and soak up some vitamin D. Of course, it's only when I do that do I realise that it's actually only 18°C, which is what us Western Australians call freezing (I kid, kind of).

Of course, I've been making the most of this weather by wearing this stunning camilla and marc number I spotted on Fashion Lane. Alas, spring is just too far away to wait for and I love this dress enough to brace the crisp shadows where the sun doesn't shine.

Just incase you haven't noticed, it's sale season. (Who am I kidding? You've definitely noticed.) For me, this typically means I have great intentions to go bargain hunting, only to find myself buying a cart-load of full priced new season stuff. Surely I'm not the only one?

And while my habit of doing so has stayed true, I also snagged a bargain (or two) thanks to Fashion Lane, who have both my best and worst interests at heart; best because they have all the very best discounts and worst because, well, fashion discounts. *Cuts up credit card.* Just kidding, spend wisely my friends!

I have been crushing on this beautiful camilla and marc tunic dress on Shopbopfor too long, so when I spotted it on Fashion Lane for 30% off I kind of went into a frenzy. It just had to be mine, finally.

And since I seem to be a bag addict of late (everybody has an obsession and I think this is mine, for the time being), I couldn't help but have a little scroll through all the beautiful bags. What can I say? I wanted to 'bag' a bargain. Heh-heh-heh. I ended up having to decide between the Sophie Hulme Saddle Bag and the Karen Walker Cross Body Bag, with the Karen Walker beaut winning by just a teeny tiny smidge.

For now though, I've limited my Fashion Lane browsing to just that; browsing and only browsing. Well, until I find something else that I just have to have before it sells out forever. Oops.

What's on your sale season wish list?
