IT'S GOING TO BE A WHITE CHRISTMAS
Most young Australians have this one thing in common: we are addicted to travel. And I am certainly no exception. I have dreamt of places far far away (which really isn't difficult when you live in one of the most isolated cities in the world), but one country in particular has continued to play on the ole' travel bug over and over and over again. Last night I turned that dream into reality.
On the 18th December, I'll be saying smell-ya' later stinking hot Perth and a big hello to Montreal, Canada! After a snow-laden Christmas in Quebec with great friends, my partner and I will spending the next 6 weeks riding every snow-capped mountain (slight exaggeration) to Vancouver. I expect to experience a whole lotta' snow, ice and below-freezing temperatures (I'm talking double-digits).
I dare say that Lion in the Wild will turn into something of a travel blog during that time, although I will be sure to post snaps of my colourful homie-like snow style. Brands will most likely include DC, Burton, Ride, K2 and Rollic to name but a few, a big stretch away from the usual.
And just to state the obvious, I am excited beyond belief. LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN!
