In a conscious effort to spend more time lapping up this gorgeous winter sun, I've brought some of blogging's finest tools to the outdoors. Other than the obvious - DSLR, Macbook, iPhone, I'm talking about you - my favourite is often your classic pen on paper. An advertising executive whom I truly admire once told me to always carry a notebook and pen to jot down ideas on the go because we all know the great ones spring to mind when you least expect it. He said any old notebook would do the trick, but I knew as soon as I laid my eyes upon his Moleskine I had to have one. And ever since I have carried around my very own Moleskine (if fact I have a couple - one for personal thoughts and the other for anything blog related). As bloggers we spend a lot of time in front of our screens, so every once in a while its refreshing to get outside and put a free-flowing pen to paper.
