PFF 2012: STUDENT RUNWAY
Unfortunately attending Perth Fashion Festival 2012 was unrealistic at this time of the year for me due to full-time work and other fun social events. However, a last minute invite from the lovely Brooke at X-Press magazine meant I was able to schedule in the 2012 Student Runway, and my goodness was it worth it. It is no secret that Perth produces some pretty incredible talent and, as the event expressed, fashion design is no different. The audience was captivated by layers of coloured feathers, geometric skirts, sheer panels, acrylic coats and creativity in abundance.
I for one (and I'm sure you'll agree) am extremely excited to follow the progression of the next generation of designers coming out of Perth. A huge congratulations to all the students involved in the Student Runway of 2012.
