SHIP TO SHORE

Back in the day there was a TV series called Ship to Shore (one of those purely awesome and most likely down right silly 90s children shows). The above location is actually that of Ship to Shore, just south of Perth. When Brad took me there on the weekend, little did I know that it was also home to a relatively steep trek and as you can see, I wasn't necessarily wearing my hiking boots. But much to my delight, I made it up (and down) in one piece in my super comfy Wittner booties.

And my goodness was it worth it. The view from up on the hill was nothing short of majestic with 360 degree views of the vast sea and surrounding bays. We even made it up in time to see an impressive storm front roll off the Indian Ocean. There is something so invigorating standing up there above the world and dancing under the rain. They say in Australia when it rains it pours and this occasion was no exception.
