SNEAKY SALE HAUL
It seems that those sneaky preliminary Christmas sales have hit Perth just prior to the Chrissy rush - after all it's only seven or so weeks until Santa comes-a-flyin' (and I'll be happily celebrating my first white Christmas in Mont Tremblant, Quebec). In fact I bought both the bag and top in preparation for the trip - I know, I'm organised. I've been on the lookout for a new bag for sometime now, with my every day bag almost in tatters (it's my old faithful okay), but it turns out I'm pretty damn fussy. Finally I found this bag in Sportsgirl - big enough to fit my laptop, camera, wallet, documents and other travel necessities - and scooped it up straight away. I love the adjustable shoulder strap and rose gold hardware, though was looking for something with more accessible compartments.
I'll be layering like a crazy person in Canada, as you do in minus-30-million-degree weather (slight exaggeration). Though I have a feeling the freezing temperatures are going to be a shock to the system coming straight from a boiling Aussie summer. I purchased the long-sleeved tee keeping this in mind, knowing it would be perfect for layering, and at $16.00 on sale who could say no?
I also managed to snap up the two polished silver cuffs for a ridiculous price as well (one for the wrist, one for the ponytail, obviously). Needless to say, I was very proud of myself for seizing a few bargains for once, which is definitely not my strong point.
If you follow me on Twitter you'll know I ordered a whole bunch of cool stuff on ASOS yesterday morning, whilst happily snuggled in bed (the best type of shopping I dare-say), so stay tuned for another haul post.
