DAY SPA AND CHOCOLATE CHAUD
There’s no doubting the muscle ache after
snowboarding several days consecutively, especially when it’s been well over a
year since the last run. But what better way to soothe your body than a spa day
and some seriously good hot chocolate? In fact, booking a day at the Scandinave Day Spa, Mont-Tremblant, was probably the best idea we’ve ever had. After the
full body massages, relaxation in the zero gravity chairs and tranquility in
the outdoor spas, it’s easy to say we’ve never been so relaxed. There is something
so extraordinary about snowflakes falling in our hair while we unwind in
perfect 39-degree spas.
And I swear if electronic devises weren’t
banned from the Scandinave Day Spa, I’d have shared this incredible experience
with you. But I do have a bunch of amazing photographs taken up the mountain at
Mont-Tremblant while we sipped on ‘chocolate chaud’. The village on the
mountain is nothing less than picturesque, resembling Santas Little Village
with its coordinated coloured buildings. But my goodness is it absolutely
freezing.
We’re currently in Quebec City, where it
isn’t getting any warmer (about 60-degrees Celsius colder than home). And with
only seven hours left of 2012, I must wish you a very Happy New Year!
