A COOL 25

Finally, finally, some cool(er) weather has graced the West Coast. Today's forecast? A cool 25-degrees Celsius. And yes, I know what you're thinking; 25 degrees? Cool? No. But, to us Western Australians, after yet another stinking hot summer, weather like this truly is a breath of fresh air.

Quite frankly, there is nothing like waking up on a cool morning, snuggled up in layers of warm blankets knowing you can embrace the moment for a few minutes before getting up. And while the mornings are pleasantly cool, the days are toasty warm (does it get much better than this?). That's the beauty of living in the sunniest city in the world. Proof? While it did in fact rain a little here during the week, it was the first time in over three months. Yep, I'm pretty great at selling my city.

I've taken full advantage of the cooler change, finally unpacking one of my favourite coats of the moment courtesy of Choies (which didn't arrive in time for my Japan adventures). And while some may deem it ridiculous to wear a coat with bare legs, I deem them ridiculous wearing jeans and a silk cami (which, by the way, is a combination I adore). After all, isn't it the same thing? Oh, the fashion debate. You know what I say? If it makes you feel good, wear it. Well, most of the time anyway.
