A Personal Update with Illias Swimwear

Busy days craving salt, sand and sun.

________

I write to you from high above the clouds, flying across Australia to Sydney. Firstly, I must apologise for the lack of updates over the last few days. My goodness, it has been the most hectic week. Between prepping our house to be sold (painting, cleaning, gardening - all the fun stuff), packing half of our belongings into boxes and editing a whole bunch of new content for you while I’m away in Sydney, Brad and I have been running around here, there and everywhere. And to top it all off, we had three-hours sleep before heading to the airport. I’m just thanking my lucky stars that Sydney is three-hours ahead of Perth, meaning that sleep time will come a lot sooner. I’m exhausted. And I need a coffee. Stat.

On top of all that, #indithecat got sick a few days ago. I was so worried that I was thinking I may have to cancel the trip, after all she’s my girl. Thank goodness, after a trip to the vet, she seemed a lot better yesterday and has almost fully recovered this morning. I was so damn worried! The last thing I wanted to do was part with her when she’s not feeling good. It’s hard enough travelling without her; I swear I miss her so much when I’m away.

So after all that, we’ve come out on the flip side. All is well; our house is looking amazing, #indithecat is back to her usual cheeky self and I’m on my way to another packed, yet exciting working trip over east (follow my on-the-go adventures on Instagram with the hashtag #LITWgoestoSydney).

I have to admit though, all I really want to do is head to the beach and relax in the warm summer sun. When my new Illias Swimwear bikinis arrived at my door (thanks Emily!), all I wanted to do was find a couple of hours on the coast. Can you blame a girl? I mean, these pieces are kind of amazing, no? While I love a classic black bikini, my goodness, that blue print is really something special. They’re sure going to be perfect when we finally move to the beach. Bring. It. On.
