The Last Week of a Busy October

The weekly round-up.
________

Guys, today is the last day of October! Can you believe it? I feel like yesterday was September and the day before that was August, so how can we be at November already? Needless to say, I'm thinking that 2015 needs to slow down, at least just a little, so I can have a breather, because my goodness, it has been one busy year. And this week has been no different, so read on to hear all about it.

The indyK Instagram giveaway. I've been doing so many Instagram giveaways recently and I thought, why not stop now? It's actually my birthday next week and I really wanted to spread the birthday cheer, so I've teamed up with indyK to giveaway a whole bunch of their fabulous Peace Bags (my favourite and pictured above!). Make sure you're following @lioninthewild and @indykofficial on Instagram and keep an eye out tomorrow for the post. Good luck!

A HUGE beauty announcement. And I can't tell you a thing (I'm sorry, I'm sorry!), but stay tuned, because I'll be blogging all about it come Tuesday. I can promise you that it is going to be a game changer for the Aussie beauty landscape, so it will be well worth the very short wait. Needles to say, when I found out, I was ridiculously excited and I know that all my fellow Australian beauty lovers will be too.

New in: my go-to skincare brands. The postman was very kind to me this week with a couple of deliveries containing a few new products from two of my favourite ever skincare brands, Grown Alchemist and Philosophy. I've not kept my love of them a secret around here with multiple blog posts dedicated to their pure brilliance (I commit a lifetime to Grown Alchemist here, and rave on and on and on and on here about Philosophy). I'm really excited to try the Grown Alchemist Tinted Hydra-Repair Day Cream and Philosophy No Reason To Hide Instant Skin Tone Perfecting Moisturiser, so much so that I already want to face both of these tinted options against each other in an epic battle of dominance. Okay, so I've been watching too much David Attenborough, but still, you get my point. Post coming soon.

Christmas has come early. Well, not Christmas exactly, but this week I've started testing and trailing a whole bunch of ah-mazing limited edition products (aka. the perfect gifts for this upcoming holidays). Actually, they're so good that I doubt you'll want to give them to someone else, which could prove to be a problem. Anyway, can you believe Christmas is less than two months away? I'm going to try and actually be organised this year too, which would be a first for me.

Mum would be proud. Too much of my childhood was spent dragging my feet behind my mum at the plant nursery on the way home from school each and every afternoon (or at least it felt like that to my young self), and I hated it. Every time we drove passed it was a small victory and yet today I actually chose to go to a nursery (sans heels). Who da heck am I? As it turns out, I'm a person who takes pride in her home and wants to be surrounded by nature's greenery on a daily basis, so off we went to make a wish list of plants that we'll hopefully put in over the next month. I am a changed woman.
