The Pink Vest and A Soppy Love Story

Revisiting MBFWA with Bluejuice (and their fabulous vest!).
________

The last time I wore this Bluejuice vest my head was buzzing, my feet were sore and I was running on little to no sleep. Alas, it was Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia (or, as I liked to call it, #BluejuiceMBFWA), and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Honestly, I cannot believe it has already been six months since I flew over to Sydney with Bluejuice for a fashion fuelled week of running here, there and everywhere.

While it was this outfit that had street style photographers snapping up a frenzy, it was the Bluejuice Storm Vest that was pulling questions like, "Who is that amazing vest by?", "When and where can I buy it?" and "I'll give you x amount of dollars for your pink vest", I kid you not. In fact, it is one of the most popular pieces I've ever worn in the history of ever. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite available yet, but it most certainly is now. Oh, and it even comes in black. Yep, it's amazing, in all of its notched lapels and side vent glory. You can't half tell I'm in-love, huh?

Speaking of love, it was mine and Brad's anniversary yesterday! It was pretty low-key day, but hopefully we'll go out for a fancy-schmancy dinner at some stage over the next couple of weeks. I actually had a really lovely day yesterday, even though we didn't do a whole lot. We walked to the beach in the morning, had a bubble bath with champagne and strawberries, and then a movie night (you know, mattress in the lounge room kind of thing), which is actually my idea of a perfect day at home. Needless to say (and I have said it a zillion times before), I feel so incredibly blessed to have had Brad by my side through all the ups and down over the past years. He is the best friend anyone could possibly ask for!

I wrote this post for our anniversary a couple of years ago and I just happened to mention that I hoped we would settle down on the beach somewhere. I would've written it merely days before we spontaneously purchased our block of land, which is just a short stroll to the coast. This year we moved into the beautiful home we built and I wouldn't have done it with anyone else but Brad. I look around at all we have accomplished, remember the places we've seen and the things we've experienced, and I know that it is only the very beginning. Yeah, it may be a little soppy, but hey, I love the guy.
