4 Must-Have Neutral Pieces For Spring

The Front Line with Westfield.

As the weather finally heats up here in Perth, there's no doubting that neutral tones have become a major trend this season.

From blushing pinks and warm browns to crisp whites and blue chambray, these wardrobe staples will be the ones that you'll be wearing over and over again from now until the end of summer (and beyond, let's be honest).

As apart of the Westfield campaign, The Front Line, which is all about 'the energy and confidence that comes from pursuing your ambitions' (that's you, fellow #GIRLBOSSES!), as well as embracing your own unique personal style, I'm sharing with you my four must-have neutral pieces for spring (and summer!), straight from Westfield's very own Searchable Mall.

1. The lace camisole.

Oh yes, the humble camisole top is back with a bang and it is most definitely here to stay. Whether you're wearing it dressed down by layering it over a casual tee (my personal favourite) or letting it simply speak for itself, the versatile camiis the perfect addition to any closet, no matter the season. My pick? The dusty blush lace cami from Sportgirl.

2. The striped shirt dress.

You all know how much I just adore a classic shirt dress, so as soon as I spotted the faded stripe number from Witchery on the Westfield Mall, I knew it would be the perfect throw-on-and-go piece over the next few months.

The lightweight fabric means it's a great option for the many warm days up ahead, while the cross-over tie front detail adds a little something special and sets it apart from other staples.

While I love styling it with a casual sandal for a day by the beach, it's also great with a pair of wedges or heeled mules for a slightly smarter take on this neutral spring/summer look.

3. The mini clutch bag.

Camel and tan tones have been taking over my wardrobe all year long, and while the coats and jumpers slowly move to the back of my wardrobe, I'm keeping the trend going with a few amazing accessories, including my new Oroton Mini Clutch Bag in Natural.

It has become one of my favourite everyday bags for its luxurious modern design and convenient size (you'd be surprised just how much fits into its bright orange interior!). Plus, the Natural shade goes with almost everything.

And the best thing? It's available in a whole range of amazing neutral shades and eye-catching textures.

4. The gladiator sandal.

Another trend that is here to stay is the gladiator sandal (no complaining over here!) and I'm loving the simple wrap-up pair from Betts For Her.

Not only are they ridiculously comfy (a necessity in the warm weather!), but they're also surprisingly versatile. Styled with a shirt dress or a pair of your favourite denim cut-off shorts, the Alessi sandle is sure to turn heads and make sure you're enjoying your summer from the beach to brunch.

Needless to say, you'll be reaching for them all spring and summer long.
