An Everyday Love Story with CLUSE
Ordinarily extraordinary. ❤️
We're so fortunate to live such extraordinary lives. I pinch myself that I get to travel the world and experience such beauty with the love of my life. Needless to say, I most certainly didn't think we'd have the opportunities we do to globe trot the way that we do (with my favourite Cluse watch of the week on my wrist, of course – currently loving the gold La Roche watch with its matte black strap and chic white marble face). I mean, just last week we arrived home from Sydney and next week I'm off to the east coast again. What is life?
Despite all this, my favourite moments are without a doubt the so-called ordinary everyday ones at home. Our Sunday morning ritual of reading, talking and drinking coffee in bed together (after I've cheekily woken him up with a big cheesy grin on my face – I'm not very good at sleeping-in 😜). Watching Netflix on the couch with a delicious cheese platter, popcorn, ice-cream, sparkling wine and anything else we're craving, just 'cause. Cooking dinner (our current go-to is chicken congee), listening to our favourite Spotify playlists and randomly breaking out in dance. Late nights in the office as I work and he studies, pushing each other to go that extra mile. Walking to the beach, chatting about everything and anything, and getting excited about another year together. 'Borrowing' his hoodies and jumpers and shirts and tees whenever I get the chance, 'cause they're ridiculously cosy and comfy.
It's during these times that I find myself watching him with a big smile, understanding truly how lucky I am to have such a wonderful companion in my life, who not only takes some pretty epic Instagram photos, but is there during the extraordinary and the ordinary, the good and the bad, the early mornings and the cheese platters. 🙊
Can you tell I'm just a little bit excited about marrying Brad, my wonderful comrade in life, this year? Just 'cause.
