LOCATION SCOUT

As a blogger I believe location to be one of the most inspiring aspects of posting and probably one of the most important. While I agree that in certain cases a blank wall can be just as effective as a dramatic landscape, each location adds significantly to the overall image of your blog. Since the beginning of Lion in the Wild I've found myself constantly brainstorming and scouting new locations, whether I'm on the train to work, driving to visit my parents or browsing on the internet. Some of the best locations I've shot, including the one above, I've discovered through asking other people with different perspectives.

The location above is literally a random road in the country just outside of Perth without any obvious landmarks, but it is no doubt strikingly beautiful. And I wouldn't have even known it existed without asking Brad for location advice (in fact, he comes up with half the locations we shoot).

Of course, I always take into account what I'm wearing that day and what will best show the quality of outfit, because after all, isn't that what it's all about?
