IT'S A WRAP

I would love to say that I'm surprised by all the hype this Neon Hart wrap skirt is gaining over on Instagram, but quite frankly I'm not. The wrap skirt is not a new concept, but its availability in an affordable market is. Now don't get me wrong, I understand that for a new style to be 'accepted' by mainstream society, forecasters must view it being embraced by multiple trendsetters to be sure its salability is guaranteed. But c'mon, how long must we wait (this isn't my first rant on the subject either)? Even fast fashion leaders Zara were somewhat late to the game with this little number, not that it has stopped them. I guess my impatience transcends me, after all the fashion world would sadly be irrelevant without an inflow of cash.

No doubt over the next six-months the wrap skirt will become a saturated trend as it enters the high street retail environment, but right now I'm enjoying its newness in the eyes of society because when push comes to shove, it has to be one of my favourite wardrobe staples.

I suppose the only solution to my inner conflict is to fatten up the wallet or bust out the credit card. And since I'm far too responsible to submit to the second option, I'll continue to work towards the first.
