SPECS SNOB

I'm a self-confessed sunglasses snob. That's right, I only wear designer sunglasses. Or at least I used to. Towards the second half of my uni days (insert nostalgia here) I didn't have a problem spending hundreds of my hard-earned dollars on a pair of Ray-Bans or Dolce & Gabana shades, and to be honest, I still don't. So, what has changed you ask? I discovered Le Specs - yes, a little late to the game perhaps, but nonetheless the eyewear label was a major player in my turnaround. When it comes to a pair of sunglasses I need quality. I mean, who hasn't owned a pair of cheap $15 sunnies - I'm talking wonky fit, loose arms and peeling plastic rims. Check. Hence my strict "designer spectacles only" phase. At such an affordable price point (the sunglasses shown above are $59.95 each) surely Le Specs can't be classified as 'designer', however it doesn't mean they lack quality. And while I continue to fancy myself a pair of Karen Walker Super Duper's, I take just as much pleasure in the more affordable things in life. Who says you can't have both quality and quantity anyway?

PS. I had one more pair (black Runaways), but I may or may not have sat on them...
PSS. Go crazy here.
