Sports Luxe with Shilla the Label

You wouldn't believe the conundrum it was for me to 'pose' in-front of a red brick wall. With a rawness that screams hipsterville, this wall really was the perfect backdrop for this black-and-white outfit. So why the hesitation you ask? Well, it's the exact same colour as my hair and my skin. I know right, what the? #redhairdontcare.
Truth be told, I should have trusted Brad's judgement and I sure am glad that I did. Despite the red-on-red-on-red issue, he has somehow managed to not only make it work, but completely rock it. For somebody who was forced into photography by hisannoying blogger girlfriend, he seems to get it right ever time, with his skills more than likely overshadowing mine by miles.
As I move forward with Lion in the Wild, I've realised that sometime in the near future we're going to have to pass on the 'resident photographer' baton to somebody else, since Brad does indeed have his own thriving career. I suppose I've been in denial because we work so damn well together. He knows what I want, I know how he works and for the majority churning out a shoot is so effortless. I guess that's what happens when you work with somebody you completely understand, afterall Brad has been along for this crazy Lion in the Wild ride since practically the beginning. And while I love shooting with my mum and besties, it's just not sustainable. So I ask, will I be able to find somebody that can make the red-on-red-on-red work like Brad somehow does? Here's hoping!
On another note, hasn't Shilla been killing it this winter with their sweater dresses? Oozing the sports luxe trend, I've styled the Midnight Organza Sporty Tee Dress with my go-to leather biker jacket, tied around to synch in the waist and add my signature 'edginess', and of course my favourite sporty-chic Roc Boots heels. I have a feeling I'll be outfit repeating this one. Can you blame me?
