My Favourite Milk Cleanser of All Time

The one I go back to time and time again.
________

Let's get one thing straight; my skin loves milk cleansers. How would I describe my skin? Hmm. Dry, blemish prone (though no where near as much as it used to be) and sensitive. So, with that being said, it's probably no surprise that it's the milky, creamy and non-foaming cleansers that really help my skin in being the best it can possibly be. Actually, my first creamy cleanser was an impulse purchase (along with a whole bunch of other goodies I raved on about during this haul video), but it has probably been one of my best beauty buys ever, not only because it works wonders, but also because it taught me a lot about my skin.

Introducing the very affordable and utterly brilliant Lush 9 to 5 Cleansing Lotion, which has become an irreplaceable step in my AM and PM beauty routine, proven by empty bottle after empty bottle (ah, if only it came in a bigger size - hint-hint). While I still feel that I need eye makeup remover to get rid of any stubborn eyeliner and mascara, the 9 to 5 is without a doubt my favourite milky cleanser ever. There are so many reasons to love this cleanser like the fact that it is completely soap-free and is packed with lots of natural products like almond oil, dove orchid extract and ylang ylang, but hey, you can read those on the packaging. For me, it's the way it makes my skin feel. It doesn't strip away my natural facial oils, which means my skin is left feeling hydrated, soft, comfortable and, above all, free of impurities.

The only ones I've tried so far that come close to Lush's 9 to 5 is the equally affordable Puretopia Whisk Away Rehydrating & Moisturising Face Cleanser, which I again wouldn't hesitate to use on my skin. I'm currently out of both the 9 to 5 and Whisk Away cleansers, so I'm using the dirty (but clean) Frank Creamy Face Cleanser, another I would highly recommend for sensitive skin.

Of course, we don't all have the same skin types, so if creamy cleansers aren't your jam, then be sure to read my guide to all things cleansing.

I'm about to do another big Lush order online, so apart from a few of bottles of the the 9 to 5 Cleansing Lotion, what else should I add to my cart?
