Nat Kent and Kate's Nudes

The weekly round-up.
________

Hello lovely people! I hope you've all had a wonderful week and enjoying your spring slash fall slash autumn weather, wherever you are in the world. This week has been another busy one with lots of new beauty and fashion tid-bits, and a couple of big buys for our new home. Read on the find out more!

Welcome to the Valley. By the time this post goes live, I'll be enjoying myself at Welcome in the Valley with Brad and a whole bunch of my amazing friends (Happy Birthday Spencer!). It's going to be such a great day off (rare for me these days) under the sunshine, listening to tunes and being surrounded by some of the best people I know. A day at the Swan Valley? How could I refuse?

The notorious Australian summer is almost here. If you haven't experience an Aussie summer yet, just imagine where a 35°C day is refreshingly 'cool' because everyday last week was 40°C days (or hotter). Long story short, not having air conditioning, I can imagine, would be the equivalent of hell. The first couple of summers Brad and I lived together we didn't have the luxury of cooling, but it did make me appreciate it even more when we did eventually get it. Actually, I don't think I could be that sweaty mess for months on end again, so we got our reverse cycle air-con installed this week, which also means heating in winter (not something I've had for a long time!). Oh, the 'cool' luxuries of home ownership (see what I did there?)!

Getting nude with Kate. Kate Moss, that is. I just got my hands on Rimmel London's latest sell-out collection, the Lasting Finish Nudes by Kate. The range includes shades for every skin tone, so I cannot wait to try them and find my perfect nude. I kind of want to experiment and do a swatches video, as opposed to my usual post, since I got my hands on each shade (yay!). So, what do you think? Is this something you'd like to see?

West Elm furniture. We splurged and we splurged good. West Elm had a friends and family sale, so I took advantage of the savings and ordered a new (king sized!!) bed, along with a few other little tid-bits. The bed doesn't arrive until the end of the year (I'm hoping it'll be delivered before Christmas), but at least that gives us enough time to find the perfect quilt cover and sheet set. Oh man, I do love me some good interior design these days.

Nat Kent goes edgy. To finish this week's weekly round-up on a high, I thought I would share with you the amazing new Nat Kent jewellery I got this week. I have been such a massive fan of the brand for quite some time now and her latest collection has got to be my absolute favourite (ever, ever, ever!). The necklaces are so grungy and edgy and chic that I really couldn't not have them in my ever expanding jewellery collection. You can lust over them over here on the Nat Kent website - beware though, it will be very, very, tempting.
