It almost feels like a lifetime since we took these photos (in a carpark during a grocery run, mind you) only a couple of weeks ago. Oh, how we’ve learnt how quickly and drastically things can change. Thankfully, my need to dress for comfort hasn’t needed to change and a wardrobe full of comfortable pieces is really coming in handy as we #stayhome 24/7.

This long sleeve floral dress is no exception either. Its chic print makes it look like I’ve made an effort, with its flowing shape (I went up a size for added comfort, FYI) the only give away that I just chucked it on, along with a few accessories, and away I went. Having worked from home and *mostly* avoided wearing pyjamas everyday for the last half decade or so, I’d say I’ve become somewhat of an expert on these matters.

Goodness knows, if you’re fortunate enough to work from home, then the key to being productive is maintaining a routine, and with that comes rejecting ones natural instinct to wear loungewear all day everyday (not that there’s anything wrong with that on the best of days).

The truth is—and I’m sure many of you have felt the same—some days I just haven’t been able to bring myself to do much of anything at all. Between the immense sorrow I feel for those who have been so deeply affected by the pandemic and mourning a very close family member who we lost early last month, it has felt like an on-and-off struggle to get back into everyday life. With each day that comes though, I’m wanting to create and share as I have for so long with you more and more. Goodness knows, I’m finding solace and connectivity in my feeds and technology as a whole right now.

Stay home (if you can) and stay safe, my loves.

I’m wearing:
Cotton On dress, and Rubi earrings (sold out – similar here and here), crossbody bag and shoes.
