I'm Vlogging Again!
I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am that I’m back vlogging again over on my YouTube channel. Late last year I decided that I wanted to create more video content, so we added a new Canon EOS M6 Mark II to our kit and I’ve been having fun filming my signature IGTV videos ever since.
It was always my intention to begin creating YouTube content again, but it was a huge addition to our workload (you wouldn’t believe how long it takes to edit just one video) and I decided to delay the relaunch of our weekly videos. That is, until now. Being at home 24/7 might seem like a strange time to begin vlogging again, but it seems like I have just a smidgen more time than I did prior to all this, so why not now?
A year ago when we really began our vlogging journey, our content was heavily focused on our travel experiences, from our pre-honeymoon in the Maldives and snowboarding in Australia to hiking in Zermatt and a road trip to Byron Bay. Looking back on those experiences is truly a luxury in itself, which is the reason we began documenting our travels in the first place and, while travel isn’t necessarily a focus for us at this stage of our lives (a decision we made prior to this year), I’m really looking forward to recording other moments so that we can re-live them for years to come.
So, what can you expect on the Lion in the Wild YouTube channel now? There’s going to be a lot of fashion content, from ‘how to style’ to outfit idea videos, and beauty content, from makeup looks to product reviews. And, of course, we’ll be sharing our everyday life through vlogs. Goodness knows, I’m having a blast creating them so far and I cannot wait to hear what you think!
