Stylish Canggu Bali Stay: Villa Blanc
The most Instagrammable villa in Bali. Pink kitchen included, obviously.
Early morning dip in the sparkling pool, walk to a charming cafe for a delicious breakfast, laze by the pool or swing in the hammock whilst reading your favourite book all afternoon, take a sunset stroll along the beach and snuggle into a cloud-like bed for another night of deep sleep.
If your perfect day goes a little like this, well then, you’re in luck my friends. That is exactly how our lazy days went by oh-so-slowly during our stay at the impeccably chic Villa Blanc in Canggu, Bali. My goodness, I’m still dreaming of its pink walls, curated interiors and chilled vibes. You’ll be forgiven for wanting to take a zillion snaps and uploading them to the ‘Gram though, ‘cause this place is seriously stylish.
While there’s plenty in walking distance, like local cafe Born Bright (they do the most delicious food and even better coffee), Villa Blanc is in a much quieter part of town, so we hired a scooter for the duration of our stay to venture into bustling Canggu. Riding through the main strip, I couldn’t believe how much the area has changed in just a year, let alone from the first time I visited the township a long time ago. Fantastic cafes, high end restaurants, fashion boutiques, surf shops and beach clubs fill up almost every spare space now, so there’s plenty to see and do.
If you’re in the area, enjoy the sunset at the Ji Restaurant rooftop over gyoza and ramen, or dinner at the latest hip restaurant that lives up to the hype, Mason. And if you need any more recommendations, then Zach and David at Villa Blanc are your guys.
Back at the villa, life is a little slower and much quieter. Just the way I like it.
