WHITE OUT
Prancing around in fluffy calf-deep snow in the middle of a thriving city feels completely surreal for somebody coming from Perth, Western Australia. Considering it is reaching well into the high 30s back home, wearing as many layers as possible in -14 weather is dreamlike. I have to admit that (almost) all sense of fashion has gone out the window here in Montreal, with my main goal being to avoid attaining frostbite and keeping the falling snow out of my eyes.
In saying that, I've not lost all sight of style. We went shopping a couple of days ago along Rue Sainte-Catherine Street West, where we got lost in Zara, H&M and Sephora to name a few. I couldn't walk past H&M's soft goods, buying a thick scarf and beanie (featured above). I also ended up purchasing my first pair of super cool high-top Nikes in classic black and white, which have been keeping my tootsies high and dry!
And now we're off to board a bus up to Mont Tremblant for Christmas and snowboarding.
Four Square jacket, ASOS denim shirt, Nobody jeans,
Nike sneakers, H&M beanie and scarf, David Jones leather gloves.
