Black Organza, Blue Jeans and a Red Lip

Just when I thought I couldn’t love the combination of organza and denim any more than I already do, I find a top that throws knitted fabric into the mix. Oh my goodness, I’m in-love. Once again, I’ve styled the top down with a pair of blue denim—the Cotton On Stretch Mom Jeans in Aireys Blue, to be exact—and up again with black and gold accessories.

I also decided to amplify the look with my new surprisingly comfortable black snakeskin heels, the sunglasses that keep selling out (get in quick!) and a swipe of my favourite red lipstick. Viola! The look is complete.

The arrival of spring here in Australia seems to have put a spring in my step (see what I did there?) or, more precisely, in my wardrobe selection. After months and months of wearing nought but tracksuits, I’m finally choosing to don slightly more presentable threads, not that there is anything wrong with trackies (they’ll always be my comfy clothing of choice). And I have to say, I’m really enjoying dressing up again.
